As a brand that always looks out for its community, 7-Eleven finds ways to leave a positive impact, not just for its loyal customers, but for the environment as it continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability. The brand proactively participates in Earth Hour once more on March 28, 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to inspire action for a greener planet.

During Earth Hour, over 4,000 7-Eleven stores nationwide will turn off non-essential lights and dim their iconic 7-Eleven signs from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. 7-Eleven is joining millions in this global movement for climate change awareness, encouraging people to give an hour for the Earth.

The annual symbolic event is a show of commitment to a sustainable future, causing a temporary yet noticeable reduction in global energy usage. For 7-Eleven, these Earth-first efforts don’t stop at  its lights; the brand has been going toward a more sustainable direction as seen in its year-long series of initiatives that make its eco-friendly practices integral to the brand.

Aside from these coffee-centric efforts, 7-Eleven promotes the Bring Your Own Bag practice, especially on Wednesdays, to reduce single-use plastics in everyday purchases. The brand also features a solar-powered store in Pampanga, marking a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions in its operations

7-Eleven emphasizes that convenience doesn’t have to cost environmental care. In fact, it can go hand in hand with small, consistent, and impactful choices. Whether it’s switching to reusable cups and bags, supporting a sustainable cause, or joining a global movement, every action counts in protecting the Earth. Together, through shared responsibility, 7-Eleven believes in going beyond the hour and to a more sustainable future for the planet.
