Training and Development for Nail Professionals in the Philippines: CND’s Commitment to Excellence
CND Philippines recently hosted a comprehensive certification program titled “Unlocking the Art of Nail Transformation,” led by Nataliya Al-ta’ai, Senior Education Manager for CND EMEA & Asia. This CND SHELLAC Certification course aimed to support nail salons by improving the skills and knowledge of their Nail Professionals, ultimately raising the standard of nail care across the country. Al-ta’ai, a highly skilled nail professional with over 18 years of industry experience, emphasized the importance of education in maintaining nail health and providing exceptional service to clients. Over 40 nail professionals in the Philippines were certified by Nataliya and received international certificates.
The certification program, held on June 18 and 19, attracted a diverse group of attendees from prominent salons across the Philippines. Participants included representatives from Azta Urban Salon, Elite Salon and Body Spa, Emphasis Salon, Enza Nails & Spa, Ecru Nail Spa, F.A 101 Salon, Gorgeous Luxe, JNJS Super Salon, Lunula, MAK Nail, Marqed Salon, Modern Fox Barber & Lounge, Nail Addik, Nailandia, Pamper Shed, Stud & Sassy, Styles N’ Brew Salon Spa and Cafe, and The Retreat Spa at Okada Manila. These professionals benefited from hands-on training and in-depth sessions designed to enhance their expertise and elevate the standard of nail care offered in their respective salons.
Attendees were given an exclusive introduction to the latest CND offerings, including CND PLEXIGEL, a revolutionary product designed for enhanced strength and flexibility in nail enhancements. They also explored the CND PROSKINCARE line, which focuses on nurturing and protecting the skin surrounding the nails for optimal health. Furthermore, participants engaged in a “look and learn” session centered around the BRISA Gel Systems, where they gained insights into application techniques and best practices, providing them with early access to these innovative solutions that combine artistry with nail health. This comprehensive training equipped nail professionals with the tools they need to elevate their services and client satisfaction.
Al-ta’ai’s extensive background includes starting her career as a CND Education Ambassador in 2011 and becoming a member of the Global Team CND in 2014. She is renowned for inventing CND’s bespoke 5-Point Polish Method, a technique widely adopted by nail professionals. Her accolades include the CND BRISA Gel Professional 2010 (UK), CND Education Ambassador of the Year 2013 (UK), and the GOLD PHAB Service Star for four consecutive years (2017-2020). In 2020, Al-ta’ai was appointed as Education Manager for EMEA and expanded her role to Asia in 2024. Her dedication to the nail industry and commitment to excellence make her a respected leader and valuable resource in the field.
