A Year of Leadership, Service, Flagship Programs, and Nationwide JCI Senate Engagement

The  JCI Senate Philippines ender the leadership of National President 2025 Sen. Robert Go, together with the Philippine Jaycee Senate Foundation, headed by Chairman Sen. Eduardo Ares Echem, continues to strengthen its commitment to leadership, service, integrity, and nation-building through its nationwide programs and activities for 2026. TPAPpass the 2026 Media Relations Officer is actress and public servant Sen. Angelica Jones Alarva of JCI Senate San Pablo City, also known as Ms. Flawless, and Board Member of the 3rd District of Laguna. She is likewise the National Public Relations Officer for Luzon of the Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines (PBMLP) and served as National Chairman of Project Watch in 2024.

The National leadership are National Executive Vice President Sen. Herbert Tang, National Secretary-General Sen. Christian Clemeno, and Sen. Agnes Rafanan Brazell of JCI Senate Kasadya Manticao, who serves as Special Assistant to National President Sen. Robert Go.
STRENGTHENING JCI SENATE CHAPTERS NATIONWIDE
Throughout 2026, National President Sen. Robert Go, together with Chairman Sen. Eduardo Ares Echem and members of the National Board, visited and participated in various chapter inductions, anniversaries, and activities across the Philippines.

Among the chapters and events visited were JCI Senate Manila, JCI Senate San Juan, JCI Senate Capiz, JCI Senate Kasadya Manticao, JCI Senate Batangas City, JCI Senate Lipa, JCI Senate Baguio, JCI Senate Dagupan Bangus, as well as activities in Zamboanga and Davao, among others.

The national leadership also conducted chapter visitations in JCI Senate Davao del Norte, JCI Senate Zamboanga, and JCI Senate Estrellas de Zamboanga.

The organization further strengthened its international presence when National President Sen. Robert Go and members of the National Board attended the JCI ASPAC 2026 activities in Niigata, Japan, including the Senate Opening Ceremony, Fusion Night, and Movie Night.
JCI SENATORS’ BREAKFAST – SOUTH LUZON AREAS
Last September 6, 2026, the JCI Senators’ Breakfast – South Luzon Area was hosted by JCI Senate San Pablo City & Jci San Pablo Seven Lakes  at Max Restaurant, San Francisco, Calihan, San Pablo City.
PROJECT WATCH MONTH: ADVOCATING TIME CONSCIOUSNESS AND HONESTY
One of the major highlights of June 2026 was Project Watch Month, carrying the advocacy: “We Advocate Time Consciousness & Honesty.”

As part of the campaign, Board Member and Sen. Angelica Jones Alarva personally sponsored, from her own resources, an Honesty Store, Mobile Kitchen, hand soaps, and wall clocks for various schools in Laguna.

Among the schools and communities reached were DepEd Santiago 1 Elementary School, Santisimo Elementary School in San Pablo City, DepEd Rizal, and DepEd Nagcarlan, Laguna and all Barangay Officials.

The activities were attended by members of the JCI Senate Philippines National Board, including NEVP Sen. Herbert Tang, NSG Sen. Christian Clemeno, MMJS President Sen. Dante Santiago, and President Sen. John Barbaza of JCI Senate San Pablo Cty, together with Provincial DepEd Laguna Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Edith Atendido, representatives of DILG Laguna, Provincial Government support of Gov. Sol Aragones, Vice Mayor Aurelio Tuneneng, local government officials, and other partners.

The initiative also received the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Laguna, through a resolution authored by Hon. Angelica Jones Alarva recognizing Project Watch Month.

Project Watch activities were likewise conducted in different parts of the country, including Isabela, Bicol, Biñan, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, and various schools and provinces.

Among those who took part were Past National Cong. Ambebihairman and National Director Garry Galuterra of JCI Senate Isabela, Sen. Atty. Jeanette Uy of JCI Senate Legazpi, Sen. Jing Abarca of JCI Senate Biñan, and National Chairman Councilor Jojo Matias of JCI Senate Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, together with other JCI Senators and community partners.


FIVE FLAGSHIP PROJECTS: “GREATER IMPACT, A STRONGER NATION”
The JCI Senate Philippines continues to implement five major flagship programs designed to create meaningful and sustainable impact in communities nationwide.
1. KASAMBAHAY KASAMBUHAY 2026
“All-Around sa Bahay, All-Heart sa Buhay”

The program recognizes the valuable contributions of Filipino household workers through the Kasambahay Kasambuhay Awards 2026. Ten outstanding winners will receive ₱100,000 each, together with TESDA scholarships and Kasambuhay packages. The program is sponsored by Palawan Pawnshop, Palawan Express Pera Padala, and JCI Senate Philippines.
2. PROJECT WATCH
“We Advocate Time Consciousness & Honesty”

Project Watch continues its nationwide campaign promoting punctuality, honesty, discipline, and responsible citizenship among students and communities. The Search for the Outstanding Project Watch Schools is now set to begin. Nominations and bids: October 15–30, 2026. Awarding Ceremony: December 6, 2026.

“Making a Difference in the Lives of Many”

The program honors Filipino physicians whose dedication and service have made a meaningful difference in the lives of their fellow Filipinos.

4. GREENLINK
“For a Greener Philippines”

GREENLINK promotes environmental responsibility, sustainability, and community participation through tree-planting and other environmental initiatives. One of the major activities was the GREENLINK Flagship Project Launch and Tree Planting Activity held in San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan, in cooperation with the lead chapter, JCI Senate Bulacan.

5. THE OUTSTANDING FILIPINO — TOFIL
“Legacy of Service”

TOFIL continues to recognize outstanding Filipinos whose lives and achievements demonstrate a lasting legacy of service to the nation.

GRAND RAFFLE DRAW 2026
Last August 15, 2026, the JCI Senate Philippines successfully held its Grand Raffle Draw at the Manila Elks Club in Makati City. The event was led by Committee Chairman Sen. Agnes Rafanan Brazell and attended by National President Sen. Robert Go, Chairman Sen. Eduardo Ares Echem, members of the National Board, and JCI Senators representing different chapters nationwide.
8TH PRESIDENT CUP FUND RAISING GOLF TOURNAMENT
The JCI Senate Philippines likewise successfully conducted the 8th President Cup Fundraising Golf Tournament, bringing together JCI Senators, leaders, partners, and supporters for fellowship and fundraising in support of the organization’s continuing programs.

THE 1ST JOAQUIN V. GONZALEZ CUP 2026
Honoring the World’s First JCI Senator

The historic Joaquin V. Gonzalez (JVG) Cup brought together the national leadership and members of the JCI Senate community. Among those present were National President Sen. Robert Go, Chairman Sen. Eduardo Ares Echem, NEVP Sen. Herbert Tang, NC Sen. Johnny Fetalvero, MMJS President Sen. Dante Santiago, members of the National Board, and fellow JCI Senators.


JCI SENATE PHILIPPINES GIVES BACK TO G.A.L.A. FOUNDATION
G.A.L.A. Foundation – Gabay Sa Landas

SG Sen. Johnny Fetalvero, Golf Chairman Sen. Mark Sta. Maria, and 2026 NEVP Sen. Herbert Tang visited the G.A.L.A. Foundation (Gabay Sa Landas), a shelter that cares for abandoned children. They brought food, school backpacks, and fun activities for the children. Proceeds from the 1st Joaquin V. Gonzalez Golf Cup were also donated to support the foundation and its mission of providing care and assistance to abandoned children.

TOFIL PRESS CONFERENCES
The Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) program also successfully conducted press conferences in Davao and Batanguera, Nd Vernie De La Cruz ,Sen Angelica Jones Alarva and Chairman Eduardo Echem &e, as City, led by National Chairman Sen. Dino Ferdinand Galido, together with National President Sen. Rbert Go, NEVP Sen. Herbert Tang, TOFIL Sponsor by Npo Bobby Alvarez, members of the National Board ang other distinguished guests.

The press conferences highlighted the continuing mission of TOFIL to recognize Filipinos whose accomplishments and service contribute to nation-building.
LOOKING AHEAD: JCI SENATE PHILIPPINES 58TH ANNIVERSARY
The JCI Senate Philippines will celebrate its 58th Anniversary on October 7, 2026, at Metro Centre Hotel, C.P.G. Avenue, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

This milestone celebration will bring together JCI Senators and leaders from different chapters to honor the organization’s rich history and continuing commitment to service.
2026 JCI SENATE NATIONAL CONVENTION — CEBU
Following the anniversary celebration, the JCI Senate Philippines will hold its JCI Senate Philippines 2026 National Convention on October 8–10, 2026, in Cebu, Philippines.

“3 Days of Connection, Leadership and Unforgettable Experiences!”

The convention is hosted in partnership with JCI Senate Cebu and is expected to bring together JCI Senators from across the country for fellowship, leadership development, networking, and the celebration of shared accomplishments.

The activities of JCI Senate Philippines throughout 2026 reflect its continuing commitment to building stronger communities through leadership and service.
